Pine Valley Family Reunion

My family had their reunion over Memorial Day weekend. We stayed in Pine Valley in this awesome cabin and had a great time playing, eating, laughing and eating some more.

We toured this awesome old church in the valley. Its the chapel the been in use the longest by the church.
The kids enjoyed their uncles so much. Mark learned how to give wet willies.
It was a great weekend.

Fathers and Sons

No pictures on this one Mike or Mark didn't want to bother with a camera. They headed up to the camp out, eating dinner on the way. They had a program that night. The ward made breakfast in the morning and they played a little. Megan and I took the baby and went to target to spend her birthday money. Boy can she shop! It was a great weekend for everyone.

San Diego

I can never get the pictures to post in the right order so this will be a little out of order but still cute. Grandpa got tickets to the San Diego Zoo for Christmas and Santa brought enough for everybody to go. So we loaded up on a Thursday afternoon and headed to California. Friday we spent an awesome day at the Zoo. I think we covered the entire thing on foot and saw everything there was to see. The pandas were cute, the hippo would only show us its hind end and the monkeys preformed wonderfully for the kids. Saturday we walked around on the beach, built sand castles and then loaded up to go home. It was seriously short and totally awesome.

Megan's Birthday

What to say about our little cutie. She turned three on May 8. It is hard to imagine that she has been here that long. She is the bestest singer in the world and is constantly making up her own little ditties. She wants desperately to be as big as Mark. She makes lots of funny faces and movements- my favorite is this little shrug she does with her shoulders.

We did up everything in pink for her birthday party- what other color is there? Her request for dinner was jello, corn on the cob and some kind of chicken. Mark kept trying to convince her that she wanted hamburgers but she stuck to her guns.

Daddy brought home flowers for her for her birthday. She loved them and was so dismayed when they died a few days later. She told Daddy that he needs to bring her new ones every time the old ones die.

Utah Trip

The kids and I took our first excursion to Utah. We did it all on our own. Mark and Megan were awesome as usual and Benny was great- sleeping almost the entire way. We got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa B. The kids love their home and the awesome toys they have.

We had originally gone to try and celebrate Bryson and Devon's graduating from college but that kind of fell flat. We did get to have a small dinner celebrating that and Megan's birthday but I'm afraid she got most of the attention.

On our drive up we found a few snow storms. The kids played in it for a bit and Benny got his first experience with snow. You can tell he wasn't that impressed.

Easter

Easter was the day after we got back from Mesa. We went to church and then got to have Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Randi come over for dinner.

The best part of the whole day was watching some of the family play the twister game that the Easter Bunny brought the kids. The pictures do not do justice to the hilarity of the situation. Oh, and I think Megan won.

Mesa Trip

Our family took our own little vacation to view the Mesa Easter Pageant. It was a quick trip with left at noon on Friday, drove to Mesa, watched the pageant with some awesome friends, stayed the night, swam in the hotel pool, loaded up and got back home by dinner. The pageant was amazing. Mark really enjoyed it, Megan was a little less interested. Of course I didn't take any pictures of our little trip but here are some random ones for your enjoyment.
