The Flag

Many of you know that we work with the cub scouts as our calling in church. Mark has really loved having the boys come over every week. Each Tuesday we have five nine-year-olds come over and Mark is always asking days in advance, "Scouts, come?" His favorite part of their time together is getting out the flag and saying the pledge. We bought a small flag for them to do this and Mark always wants to play with it, but I didn't feel like it was very respectful for him to drag that flag all over. So we finally got around to making one. With fabric markers we colored his flag- this consisted of a few scribbles by him as well as a lot of demands that Mom draw this or that. Then we glued it onto a stick. He didn't let go of the thing all day, it even went to the grocery store with us. He is so proud of his flag.

Nice flag! Kenna likes playing with bigger kids too. Now she needs to learn to play nicely with babies. Well, Kenna is whining to get back to the pictures of Mark.
