I fell off the blogging planet for a while, but hopefully we're back and we can get caught up. We have started the birthday run. Mark starts us off in February, then me in March, Mike in April and Megan in May.
Mark had an awesome birthday week. We started in Utah on Feb 14th. We got to go to the Draper temple open house. Mark was so excited to be able to go into a temple. That evening we had his birthday dinner and he got to open his presents.
We left on Sunday the 15th and went to Mesquite. There he had another birthday party and got to open more presents from the Parrish grandparents.
Monday the 16th we took him shopping for Family Home Evening. Papa and Mimi had sent him some money to buy his own birthday present. Mark was so thrilled. (He keeps asking me if we can "buy some money so he can get a toy".) He finally had some money of his own. In typical man fasion he walked into the store and decided to get the first truck that he looked at. We had him look around a little bit more, but he wanted the first toy that he saw.
On his actual birthday the 17th it was a little bit anticlimatic. We had an ice cream cake and sang again, but we were pretty partied out. Needless to say he is really into the birthday thing. Here he is with some of his toys afterword. We had to learn how to hold up three fingers instead of two.

i can't believe he is 3. I guess that's why he's the ring leader at play group. Or maybe it's because he's practically the only boy....He is such a cute kid.
